  This course is designed for IDA ICE users who want to integrate daylight analysis into their projects. Participants will learn the essential elements of daylight performance simulation, including how to model the scene and define areas of interest. The course offers practical guidance to structure daylight studies effectively within IDA ICE.

  We will explore the different sky models available in IDA ICE, helping participants understand when to use each one depending on the analysis objectives. Key daylight metrics such as Daylight Factor, Illuminance, Spatial Daylight Autonomy (sDA), and Useful Daylight Illuminance (UDI) will be covered in detail. Participants will also learn how to visualize results and organize findings for clear communication and smooth integration into the design process.
