  In this lesson, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the different air handling unit templates available in IDA ICE. You will learn how these systems work, what control strategies are implemented, and how to adapt them to meet the specific requirements of your project. The various AHU templates will be analysed and tested directly in the model – including the evaluation of relevant variables and control parameters.

  The following typical applications will be covered in detail:
  • Night cooling
  • Steam humidification
  • Supply air temperature control based on extract air
  • CO₂-based airflow control
  • Air flow between zones

  After this training, you will be able to select and customise the appropriate AHU templates and model realistic ventilation scenarios in your projects – from standard systems to complex control strategies.
