DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\nWorkflow-Training: Avoiding Overheating in Summer (SIA
380/2)\nWorkflow Training: Avoiding Overheating in Summer (SIA 380/2) Par
t of the workflow series “Swiss Localization”\nPrerequisite: Participants
are expected to be familiar with the topics covered in the basic course an
d should refresh this knowledge individually before attending the training
.\nThis training is part of the new workflow training series for the Swiss
localization. In these courses\, we demonstrate practical\, step-by-step
approaches to implementing various simulation applications for everyday si
mulation work:\n\nWinter Thermal Protection (SIA 380/1) – From model to co
mpliance verification step by step (WF-CH1)\nSummer Thermal Protection (SI
 A 180 C.1) – Automatic optimization and certification (WF-CH2)\nAvoiding O
verheating in Summer (SIA 380/2) – Passive measures and cooling demand ana
lysis (WF-CH3)\nHeating and Cooling Load Simulation (SIA 380/2) – Methodol
ogy for system sizing (WF-CH4)\nEnergy Demand (SIA 380/2) – Electricity de
mand for cooling compliance verification (WF-CH5)\n\nFor various regulator
y compliance checks in Switzerland\, verification of high summer indoor te
mperatures according to SIA 380/2 (formerly cooling demand verification ac
cording to SIA 382/1) is required. This verification can be carried out us
ing the Swiss localization in IDA ICE.\nIn this practice-oriented workflow
training\, we provide an overview of the requirements and their practical
application. We demonstrate how to model possible passive measures in IDA
ICE\, evaluate the simulation results\, and generate the corresponding co
mpliance report.\nThis workflow training includes the following aspects:\n
\nIntroduction and fundamentals of the standard\nNatural ventilation and n
ight cooling. Introduction to user-defined control (Control)\nExample of a
system simulation using free cooling\nReport generation\nTips and tricks
\n\nTime: 10:00 to 12:30 Location: Online Course fee: EUR 275 (standard co
nditions)\nTo register for this course\, please click “Join” above.\n&nbsp
