Optimization

Spring season's optimization course takes place on 16^th and 17^th March, online in Teams Equa's in-house developed optimization tool, AutoMOO will be introduced and used in the course, in the newest beta version of  5.0 IDA ICE. 
Presenters: Mika Vuolle and Viktoria Nadas-Rusanen.

In the course, the following subjects and topics will be covered: 

• Practical optimization background
• Parametric Runs use cases and applicability
• Graphical Scripts
• Brute force
• Single objective optimization
• Multiobjective optimization
• Design constraint types and uses
• Financial applications
• Q&A

The course aims to provide the participants an overall understanding of optimization, types of it and possible applications  through focused theoretical explanation, live exercises, and active course participation.
 A  3-month trial license of the full Expert version is included in the course!
