• You have experience using IDA ICE to analyze the dynamic behavior of individual rooms in real building projects, and
• You are familiar with the content taught in the basic course and review it as part of your individual course preparation.

Does this sound familiar? You’ve carefully built up your project, looking forward to seeing the results, you start the simulation – and then it happens: an error message. But what does it mean? And what should you do next?

In this session, we’ll guide you through common issues in IDA ICE, show you how to interpret error messages, and equip you with strategies and tools to troubleshoot your models effectively.

In this hands-on session, you will work with real-world projects based on previous support cases. These projects contain specific errors that prevent simulation runs. Your task: interpret the error messages correctly, identify the underlying causes in the model, and fix the issues step by step.

We will share proven techniques and practical troubleshooting strategies drawn from our daily support experience. From simple mistakes to more complex scenarios – together, we’ll analyze different cases and show you how to work confidently and efficiently with IDA ICE.
